Details on the caes of six people which have recently been dealt with at Poole Magistrates' Court.

BOURNEMOUTH

MUSTAFA SALEH, aged 36 and of Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, admits stealing bottles of alcohol to the value of £57 belonging to Tesco in Bournemouth on March 15. Community order made, whereby the defendant must follow an overnight curfew for four months and not enter Tesco Express in Bourne Avenue, Bournemouth, and Superdry Ltd in St Peter’s Quarter, Bournemouth, for 12 months and take part in up to 10 rehabilitation activity days. To pay £37 compensation. Also admits commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order made on February 18, 2021, for the offences of two shoplifting thefts. Fined £50. Also admits stealing a t-shirt and hoodie to the value of £74.98 belonging to Superdry Ltd in Bournemouth on June 10. Community order made. To pay £74.98 compensation.

LUKE STEPHEN CAREY, aged 31 and of Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, admits damaging a vehicle, a front door to a property and a window to the front of the address belonging to two people in King John Avenue, Poole, on July 31. Community order made, whereby the defendant must carry out 50 hours of unpaid work. To pay £714 compensation. Also admits possessing 1.57 grams of cocaine in King John Avenue, Poole, on July 31. Community order made. Cocaine to be forfeited and destroyed.

FEGITA CHRISTINE SIMMS, aged 38 and of Mount Road, Bournemouth, admits having a vegetable knife in Mount Road, Bournemouth, on September 24. Community order made, whereby the defendant must take part in up to 30 days of rehabilitation activity requirement. Fined £50. To pay £114 surcharge.

ALEXANDER BROWN, aged 29 and of Hillmeadow, Verwood, admits when suspected of having driven a vehicle and having been required to provide a specimen or specimens of breath for analysis in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence, failing to do so at Bournemouth Custody and Enquiries in Madeira Road, Bournemouth, on September 25. Community order made, whereby the defendant must abstain from consuming alcohol for 90 days. To pay £114 surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.

IAN JOHN EDWARDS, aged 42 and of Wheatsheaf Road, Wimborne, admits using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress in Wheatsheaf Road, Wimborne, on September 18. Fined £80. To pay £34 surcharge and £85 costs.

POOLE

SASHA TENDAI GWESHE, aged 19 and of Mossley Avenue, Poole, admits driving a car in Exeter Road, Bournemouth, on September 25 without due care and attention. No separate penalty. Driving record endorsed. Also admits driving a BMW in Exeter Road, Bournemouth, on September 25 with 77 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £120. To pay £48 surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 20 months.
