THE countdown is on as construction is now under way for this year's Christmas Market and Christmas Tree Wonderland in Bournemouth.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Bournemouth town centre with two weeks to go before opening, Bournemouth's Christmas Market will run from Friday, November 18 until Monday, January 2.
The market will be open every day between 11am and 11pm and features more than 35 ‘chalet huts’ offering everything from luxury hot chocolates to handmade ‘Christmas favourites’.
A new Après Ski-themed experience will also be coming to Bournemouth Christmas market this month with seating booths, games, and live music.
‘The Après Terrace’ will be the newest addition to the popular Christmas market in Bournemouth.
It will offer an immersive Après Ski-themed experience on the terrace of the Bournemouth Pavilion.

The popular Alpine Lodge bar will be returning. The two-storey bar features indoor, outdoor and balcony seating. There’s also weekly events including Monday quiz night, Wednesday Christmas karaoke evenings and Thursday happy hours.
The food is always a highlight with something for everyone to tuck into.
In the Lower Gardens, Christmas Tree Wonderland, with the iconic 60-foot walk-through Christmas tree and the popular ice rink is also being built.
Now in its fifth year, this free attraction promises to dazzle and delight once again.
The Christmas Tree Wonderland trail runs throughout the town centre, including the Triangle, Beale Place, Horseshoe Common, down to the Lower Gardens and then the seafront.
