Details on eight cases concerning offenders from Bournemouth which have recently been dealt with at Poole Magistrates' Court.
BOURNEMOUTH
LEO JAMES TIMOTHY CARSTAIRS, aged 18 and of Shaftesbury Road, Bournemouth, found guilty of driving a motor vehicle in Avon Mews, Bournemouth, on June 10 with 91 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £180. To pay £34 surcharge and £250 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 18 months.
CHRISTOPHER JOHN FRITH, aged 33 and of Lumley Road, Southbourne, admits driving a motor vehicle in West Street, Poole, on October 15 with 61 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £120. To pay £34 surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 18 months.
JAMIESON RICHARDS-BOYCE, aged 25 and of no fixed abode, admits damaging a custody cell door belonging to Bournemouth Custody in Madeira Road, Bournemouth, on August 27. Fined £160. To pay £100 compensation, £34 surcharge and £250 costs.
MARK JOHN LUTON, aged 44 and of Homeside Road, Bournemouth, admits failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made on April 25 by failing to attend planned office appointment on October 11 and scheduled Thinking Skills programme sessions on September 22 and October 6. Community order revoked. New community order made, whereby the defendant must take part in up to 20 rehabilitation activity days. Fined £460. To pay £60 costs.
DANNY SHANE BUSHAWAY, aged 32 and of Robert Louis Stevenson Avenue, Bournemouth, admits knowing that payment on the spot for goods supplied, namely fuel, was required or expected from him, dishonestly made off without having paid as required or expected with intent to avoid payment of £20.16 at Bath Road Service Station, Bath Road, Bournemouth, on March 26. Discharged conditionally for 15 months. To pay £20.16 compensation, £22 surcharge and £85 costs. Also admits committing fraud in that he dishonestly made a false representation, namely by using the victim’s bank card, intending to cause them loss or to expose them to a risk of lose in St John’s Road, Bournemouth, on March 26. Discharged conditionally for 15 months.
JACK PHILIP BRAMBLEBY, aged 31 and of Talbot Avenue, Bournemouth, admits damaging a sign to the value of £75 to £150 belonging to I Accessorize in Commercial Road, Bournemouth, on October 1. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. To pay £150 compensation. Also admits using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress in Bournemouth Town Centre on October 1. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Also admits failing to comply with a direction given to him under section 35 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 in that he failed to leave the locality specified, namely Bournemouth Town Centre Map, on September 24. Discharged conditionally for 12 months.
RONALD PAUL DEAN, aged 38 and of Frances Road, Bournemouth, admits having a quantity of cocaine in Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, on October 29. Fined £40. TO pay £16 surcharge. Drugs to be forfeited and destroyed.
BENJAMIN WILLIAM JONES, aged 39 and of Garfield Avenue, Bournemouth, admits stealing a pedal cycle belonging to a man in Old Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, on September 2. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. To pay £26 surcharge and £45 costs. Also admits failing to surrender to custody at Poole Magistrates’ Court on September 26, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on September 2. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Also admits failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from a period of detention in that he failed to attend planned probation appointments on August 31, September 12 and September 21 and keeping in touch with his supervising officer and attend rehabilitation activity on August 10. Fined £20. To pay £30 costs.
