A DORSET beauty spot will light up the dark winter nights for the second year running.
The Blue Pool at Wareham will host the popular Illuminate event between January and March.
It comes after the success of this year’s inaugural spectacle.

Billed as an “unmissable evening of colours, lights, music and memories”, Illuminate features 1km trail of illuminations.
Plus, new for this year, will be waterside lights set to music.

The Blue Pool said: “Back For 2023 - in association with OT Event Technicians.
"Following on from the success of 2022, this year will include new waterside lights to music as well as additional musical sections of woodland trail.
“Begin the New Year with a spectacular evening of illuminations and music, take time to reflect in the peaceful tranquillity of The Blue Pool at night.”
The first Illuminate took place across January and February this year and attracted more than 10,000 people.

The Blue Pool will once again be teaming up with OT Event Technicians to create the night-time spectacle.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy the Art Deco licenced tearooms throughout the evening, as well as fire pits on the terrace for toasting marshmallows.
Dogs on leads are welcome and parking for the event is free but limited.
The event closes at 8pm with last entry onto the light trail 30 mins before closing.
