A PEDESTRIAN has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash in Poole this morning.
The crash in Rossmore Road involving a pedestrian and a van was reported to police shortly before 8am.
Police and the ambulance service attended.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.57am on Friday 11 November 2022 to a report of a collision involving a van and a pedestrian in Rossmore Road in Poole."
Giving an update, the spokesperson said the pedestrian had been taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 07.59hrs to an incident in Parkstone, Poole.
"We sent a double-crewed land ambulance, and conveyed one patient to Poole Hospital.”
Officers closed the road between Good Road and the Trinidad Boxing Club.
The road has been reopened.
