A MAN has appeared in court accused of causing a woman serious injuries.
Richard Dean Caines is alleged to have driven a Nissan Micra dangerously in Poole Road, Westbourne, on November 8.
Caines, aged 47, is also accused of driving while unfit to do so through drugs, driving without a licence and using a motor vehicle without insurance.
The defendant, whose address was given as West Cliff Road, Bournemouth, appeared in the dock at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, November 10.
He did not enter a plea to the charges during the short hearing.
Deputy District Judge Kirsty Allman sent the case to Bournemouth Crown Court, with a plea and trial preparation hearing due to take place on December 8.
Caines was remanded in custody.
