WHY you will be able to see a Spitfire plane from WW2 if you visit Castlepoint this weekend
For Remembrance weekend the Spitfire Plane from WW2 will be making its appearance at Castlepoint shopping centre to help raise money for Bournemouth’s Royal British Legion Poppy appeal.
The plane will be positioned outside M&S from 10am – 4pm on Saturday, November 12.
People who come down will also be able to speak to historians about the plane.
David Pickett, Centre Manager of Castlepoint is "delighted" to have the Spitfire come to the centre and described it as a "huge privilege."
David said: “There can’t be many people who don’t look up when they hear the distinctive sound of the Spitfire flying overhead.
"So, to be hosting one at Castlepoint is a huge privilege and we are delighted to be partnering with such a worthy charity.”
