A PROPERTY in Poole suffered smoke damage during a fire in the early hours of Friday morning.
The fire involving unattended cooking in Junction Road in Hamworthy was reported to the fire service shortly at 12.24am.
Two fire crews attended the fire which was out on arrival.
A Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Hamworthy and Poole were called to a property fire on Junction Road, Poole at 12.24am this morning.
“The fire, caused by unattended cooking, was out on arrival, but the property had suffered smoke damage.
“Our stop came at 12.57am and crews had left the scene by 1.15am.”
