A POWER cut has affected more than 1,800 people in Winton this morning, energy supplier SSEN has confirmed.
The Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) says it is hoping to restore power to these customers by 1.30pm this afternoon.
A spokesperson from SSEN said: ““Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) is working to repair a fault on the high voltage network supplying the Winton area of Bournemouth.
“Engineers are on site and aim to have power restored to the 1,800 affected customers by 1:30pm today.
“SSEN would like to apologise to its customers for any inconvenience this power cut has caused and thanks them for their patience while engineers work to safely restore supplies.”
There was also a power cut in Kings Park, Boscombe, which is also being dealt with.
