A NEW food and drink venue launches in Bournemouth this weekend.

The Hatch BH2 situated in Kerley Road at West Cliff will open on Saturday, November 12, at 5pm.

It will be open between 5pm and 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Described as a great place to relax with friends, visitors will be able to enjoy an indoor area along with an outdoor space which is undercover.

A spokesperson said: “At the moment our opening times are limited to Friday and Saturday 5pm to 9pm.

“Although all other days are open for private hire which can include the outside area and also the indoor spa area or both depending on party size.

“We are a very relaxed and informal venue offering a limited number of alcoholic drinks and pizzas.

“Given time and (hopefully) success the drinks and food menu will expand.”

The spokesperson added: "This is the first venue and we are just experimenting with it over the Christmas period as we would love to capture some of the Christmas market vibe."
