POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted by a man in East Dorset over the weekend.
It is reported that at around 12.45am on Saturday 5 November 2022 a woman was assaulted by a man on Hurn Road, in Ashley Heath.
The man reportedly left the scene in a small hatchback car, possibly a Ford Fiesta.
It is believed the female victim may have returned to the scene at around 2pm later on the same day.
Police Constable Mark Rice, of East Dorset police, said: “At this time, we have limited information in relation to this incident and would ask any witnesses or anyone with relevant footage to please come forward.
“We would also urge those involved to please come forward so we can establish what happened and ensure everyone is all right.”
