A JCB worth more than £7,000 which was stolen in Dorset has been found 130 miles away in Surrey.
Following an investigation, Dorset Police’s rural crime team found the JCB tracked dumper, worth £7,500, at an address in the Warlingham area of Surrey on Saturday, November 12.
The find was a result of cross-border working between Dorset Police and Surrey Police.
Police Constable Sebastian Haggett, of the Rural Crime Team, said: “We will continue to work collaboratively with other police forces in order to identify those responsible for these thefts.
“I would continue to urge anyone with information to help our enquiries to please get in touch.”
