THE driver of a car which overturned on a busy road near Wimborne yesterday was taken to hospital for treatment.
Emergency services were called to a single vehicle crash on the B3082 Blandford Road at just before 3pm on Sunday, November 13.
Two fire engines were in attendance to the crash, involving just one car, as well as the ambulance service and Dorset Police.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 2.36pm on Sunday 13 November to a report of a single vehicle collision involving an Audi near to Kingston Lacy House.
“Officers attended with the ambulance and fire services. The road was closed.
“The driver of the car sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. The vehicle was recovered and road reopened at around 6.30pm.”
