TWO people were taken to hospital after a crash on the A31 near Stapehill on Monday night, November 14.
Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle crash at the junction with Uddens Drive at 7.39pm.
Police, ambulance and the fire service attended.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 19.50hrs on Monday 14 November to a road traffic collision in the Wimborne area.
"We sent two double-crewed land ambulances and conveyed two patients to Poole Hospital.”
Fire crews from Shaftesbury, Verwood and Wimborne attended.
They were called to the scene at 7.46pm.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “It is believed the two vehicles collided with one leaving the road, upon arrival firefighters found one person injured in each vehicle and were able to help them from their cars without the use of specialist equipment.
“Both persons were immediately placed into the care of the ambulance service whilst firefighters continued to work on making the scene safe.”
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.39pm on Monday 14 November 2022 to a report of a two vehicle collision on the A31 near to the junction with Uddens Drive.
“Officers attended with the fire and ambulance services. Local authority made aware due to debris on the road. The vehicles were recovered and the road was cleared at around 9.15pm.”
