POLICE investigating a reported robbery in Poole have made an arrest.
It was reported at around 2.40pm on Monday, September 19, a man was approached on Poole Quay and pushed off his bike by an unknown man.
It was reported the alleged offender stole the bike – a black Specialized mountain bike – and rode off in the direction of Hamworthy.
The victim’s mobile phone, keys and Samsung earphones were on the bike that was reportedly stolen.
Following enquiries by officers, a 34-year-old man from Corfe Mullen was arrested on suspicion of robbery.
He has been released on police bail as further enquiries are conducted.
