A POPULAR bakery will open its third branch in Dorset next year.
After launching its first location in Tuckton around a year and a half ago, BigWigs bakery has swiftly established itself as a favourite in the community and will soon be opening a third store in Highcliffe.
BigWigs is hoping to open the new Highcliffe store in February next year.
The news also comes shortly after the second BigWigs in Westbourne opened its doors in May.
The owner's Tom Bew and Dominic Brown are both chefs by trade and were very excited when the opportunity came up to open a third store.
They have already had a "fantastic" reaction from the Highcliffe community about the news of their opening.
Tom said: "The reaction to the news we are opening in Highcliffe has been fantastic and everyone locally has been super friendly and supportive.
"Ideally, we will be opening by February next year.

"There is a lovely village style community in Highcliffe and it still has a busy high street along with surrounding holiday parks and of course beautiful beaches.
"We will have a stall at the turning on of the Highcliffe Christmas lights on Saturday, December 3, which we can't wait for and encourage everyone to come along, support and enjoy.
"Highcliffe can expect all the same products available in our current two stores and we can't wait for our new customers to try all of our baked goods from sourdough loaves and cakes to our brunch buns and ever changing specials."
The store sells a range of products featuring everything from donuts to cakes and cookies, bread, pastries, sausage rolls and pies.
It also produces a variety of hot foods and the brunch bun is something they have become 'really known for'.
Once opened the new store will be located at 340 Lymington Road, Highcliffe, Christchurch, BH23 5EY.
