FLIGHT times have been announced for the world-famous Red Arrows visits to Bournemouth this summer.
The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team will put on stunning displays above the resort a record three days running as part of the inaugural More Bus Bournemouth Air Festival.
And they are giving as many people as possible the opportunity to watch their performances.
The team will take to the skies at 3pm on Friday August 29, at midday the following day and again at 3pm on Sunday August 31.
The Red Arrows have been regular visitors to Bournemouth for many years but they have only ever put on one performance.
"This really is a great achievement for the town and a super opportunity for local residents and the many visitors expected during the festival to see the world famous display team in action - three times" said Jon Weaver Air Festival Director.
Up to a million people could visit the four-day festival from August 28 with attractions ranging from the Royal Navy Black Cats Helicopter Display Team to a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and visits from RAF Falcons.
There will be plenty to do on the ground with live music and entertainment, stalls and sideshows between the town's two piers and a huge firework display on the Saturday night. There will also be a daily balloon glow.
The air display line-up will be finalised over the next two weeks. Details and times will be announced in the Daily Echo and will also be available nearer the time in a souvenir brochure, sponsored and printed by the Echo, which will cost £5.
