Details on the cases of eight people which have been dealt with at Poole Magistrates' Court.

BOURNEMOUTH

TARON PAUL MCQUEEN, aged 25 and of Langton Road, Bournemouth, admits being drunk and disorderly in Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, on October 25. Fined £170. To pay £68 surcharge and £85 costs. Also admits commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order made on September 28 for an offence of possession of a knife/bladed article. Fined £200.

JAMES THOMAS HILLS, aged 30 and of St Michael’s Road, Bournemouth, admits contacting a woman via text message, Facebook Messengers and phone calls in Bournemouth between October 6 and November 8, which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order made on July 18. Fined £200. To pay £80 surcharge and £85 costs.

OLIVER MARTIN JONES, aged 32 and of Stourvale Road, Bournemouth, admits entering an address in Queen’s Park Gardens, Bournemouth, on May 15 as a trespasser and stealing a box and 10 watches. Community order made, whereby the defendant must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work. To pay £2,170.98 compensation.

JACK ANTHONY COLIN KENT, aged 26 and of no fixed abode, admits being with a woman Bournemouth, on July 23, which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order made on February 2. Committed to prison for four weeks. Also admits damaging a police cell van to the value of £100 belonging to Dorset Police in Poole on November 8. Committed to prison for two weeks concurrent. To pay £100 compensation. Also admits having contact with a woman in Poole on November 7, which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order made on February 2. Committed to prison for four weeks consecutive. Overall length of sentence eight weeks.

GEORGE SAMUEL PENNINGTON, aged 27 and of Paddington Grove, Bournemouth, admits failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made on January 17 by failing to attend for planned supervision appointments on April 5 and May 3 and for the Thinking Skills programme requirement on May 3. Community order revoked. To pay £60 costs. Committed to prison for 24 weeks, suspended for 12 months.

PAUL ROBERT SPILLAR, aged 43 and of Upper Terrace Road, Bournemouth, admits stealing items including ready meals and fresh meat to the value of £47.75 belonging to Co-op in Wimborne Road, Poole, on August 26. Discharged conditionally for six months. To pay £26 surcharge.

BENJAMIN EARL, aged 41 and of Stanbridge, Wimborne, admits driving a motor vehicle on the A4 Bath Road near Kensington Park Road, Bristol, on November 11, 2021, at a speed exceeding 30mph, namely 37mph. Fined £153. To pay £34 surcharge and £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with three points.

NORTH DORSET

SCOTT DAVID BROOK, aged 35 and of Orchard Street, Blandford Forum, admits failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made on August 14, 2021, by failing to attend for a planned office appointment on June 7 and failing to attend for unpaid work requirements sessions on June 22 and June 29. Community order revoked. To pay £60 costs. Committed to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months.
