A MOTORCYCLIST has been hospitalised with serious injuries after a crash with a car in Poole.
Dorset Police received a report of a crash between a car and a motorcyclist at 7.05am on Tuesday, November 22.
A Volkswagen Polo, driven by a 70-year-old man from Poole, and a Yamaha motorcycle, ridden by a 44-year-old Poole man, collided with each other, police say.
The ambulance service also attended and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The incident happened at the junction of Bournemouth Road and Mansfield Road along the A35.
Police Constable Mark Palmer, of the traffic unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to the collision to please come forward.
“I am particularly keen to speak to a man who stopped and spoke to one of the two men involved.
“Also, I would urge any motorists with dashcam who were travelling in the area at the time to please check their footage for anything of relevance.”
