TEMPORARY traffic lights in Poole, which will cause delays, are to be in place until early December.
The roadworks, which have been in Shore Road since October, are in its final phase of completion as Wessex Water assess the condition of a sewer pipe.
Wessex Water say the work, which is close to the junction of Haven Road, will be completed on Friday, December 9.
In the meantime, a three-way temporary traffic light system will be in place due to a lane closure, which will be manned between 7am and 7pm from Monday to Friday.
A temporary pedestrian crossing is also in place and a number of parking bays have been temporarily closed.

A Wessex Water spokesperson said: “We have worked closely with BCP Council to minimise the impact of these investigations, maintaining pedestrian access along Shore Road and working with businesses to temporarily relocate them a short distance away while the work takes place.
"At the request of the local authority, Chaddesley Glen has been closed to through traffic at the junction with Shore Road to assist with local traffic alleviation. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.’’
Motorists have faced lengthy queues and long delays at Sandbanks due to temporary traffic lights.
Drivers have reportedly been nose-to-tail trying to head away from the Poole peninsula on Saturday afternoon.
