A Dorset beach has been named among the best in the UK for 2022 by the American travel magazine Travel + Leisure.
Among the 18 listed, Durdle Door was included, and it was the only representative from Dorset to make the list.
Describing the beach, Travel + Leisure wrote: "This is one of the most famous beaches in the U.K., if not the world, thanks to a century's worth of guidebooks and social media stardom.
"Crowned by a spectacular arch — nicknamed the Durdle Door — it's a truly remarkable corner of the South West Coast Path.
"Most pair a visit here with a stroll to the nearby Lulworth Cove, but this place is so breathtaking, we wouldn't blame you for staying put."
Durdle Door was included with Bamburgh Beach in Northumberland, Kynance Cove in Cornwall and Compton Bay on the Isle of Wight among many others.

The beach is one of the most famous landmarks in Dorset due to its unique arching cliff formation.
In popular culture, the landscape at Durdle Door has been featured in films such as Wilde, starring Stephen Fry, and Nanny McPhee, starring Emma Thompson.
Additionally, it was featured in the most recent episode of Doctor Who and was the spot where Jodie Whittaker regenerates.
