FOG could cause some travel delays this morning, the Met Office has warned.
A yellow weather warning of fog has been issued for Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and the rest of the county.
The alert came into force shortly before 2am and will be in place until 11am this morning.
A Met Office spokesperson said: “Areas of fog, dense in places, have developed and will be stubborn to clear through much of this morning.
“Whilst some fog is likely to persist all day, many places will see this lifting into low cloud or clear by this afternoon.”
In terms of what to expect, the Met Office said the fog could possibly cause some slower journey times to bus and train services.
There is also a chance of delays or cancellations to flights.
Today the forecast is expected to be cloudy and dry with highs of around 8C.
Misty conditions are currently forecast for this evening between 8pm and 11pm.
