A CLOTHING chain closed two of its branches in Dorset at the weekend.
M&Co located at 43 South Street in Dorchester closed its doors for good on Saturday, November 26.
The store sold men's and women's clothes and homewares.
The store closed on the same day the M&Co store shut in Wimborne.
In a post on Facebook, the company said: "On Friday we were given the very sad news that our Dorchester Branch will be closing our doors for the final time on Saturday, November 26.
"I would personally like to say a massive thank you to all our customers both past and present for supporting our store and especially during our most difficult trading times throughout Covid and the difficult financial times that many of us are now facing.
"Please may I ask that you are kind and sympathetic to the staff during these last few days as this is a very sad and upsetting time for the girls and myself.
"Once again a massive Thank you to you all, we will miss you all terribly."
Other M&Co stores remain open, with the next nearest being Bridport and Blandford.
