A DISQUALIFIED driver led police on a 140mph chase through Hampshire and two other counties.
The driver failed to stop for officers in Dorset and sped across the border, where members of the Hampshire Roads Policing unit took over.
The car involved was a Bentley that could travel at speeds of more than 190mph.
A police spokesman said: "Due to the very high speeds (in excess of 140mph), and the direction the driver was headed, we got our colleagues at SurreyRoadCops primed to assist.

"The driver joined the M25 and, just prior to Heathrow, an opportunity presented and we used tactics to stop the vehicle.
"The driver was discovered to be disqualified and also wanted. He has been arrested for multiple offences and the car seized.
"Great teamwork between multiple forces resulted in us taking a dangerous driver off the road.
"When pursuing a car capable of speeds over 190mph you cover a lot of distance very quickly.
"This sometimes means we have to work with other forces to get officers ahead and also try to maintain the safety of the general public on the road."
