Two missing teenage girls from Poole have been found safe and well, police have said.

Millie Cooper, aged 13, and Lauren Underhill, aged 14, were last seen at around 4pm on Saturday, December 3, playing football together in the Learoyd Road area of the town.

Police issued a public appeal to help find them.

Giving an update, Dorset Police said: "Following extensive enquiries, the girls have been located.

"We would like to thank everyone who assisted in the search and for sharing our appeal."
