THE NHS, Dorset’s two big councils and banking giant JP Morgan were the employers posting the most job adverts in 2022, a report has revealed.
Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership’s (LEP) Labour Market and Skills for the third quarter of 2022 analysed job vacancies from the first nine months of the year.

It found the employers advertising the most vacancies were in health, local government, finance JP Morgan, tourism and hospitality, education, manufacturing) and retail Including Tesco and Asda.
The top employers – together with the number of vacancies they advertised in the first nine months of 2022 – are as follows:

- Sales related occupations 2,712
- Other administrative occupations 2,708

- Programmers and software development professionals 2,080
- Kitchen and catering assistants 1,987
- Chefs 1,650
- Teaching assistants 1,387
- Book-keepers, payroll managers and wages clerks 1,198
- Cleaners and domestics 1,183
- Managers and proprietors in other services 1,153
- Teaching and other educational professionals 1,108
- Human resources and industrial 958.
