Jordan, a Hollywood actor, became minority owner at Cherries following a takeover led by Bill Foley, who is also in attendance.

Named in 2020 as one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine, Jordan is arguably most recognised for his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, playing the character Killmonger in Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

He also achieved notoriety for his work on The Wire and was named in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Hollywood & Entertainment list in 2014.

Aside from acting credits, 35-year-old Jordan is also set to direct the third instalment of the Creed franchise, where he plays the titular character Donnie Creed.

The pair were introducted to the Cherries faithful before kick off, with the club encouraging fans to take their seats earlier than usual.
