A COUPLE from Dorset is celebrating the arrival of their ‘rainbow baby’ on New Year’s Day.
Ethan David Field was born to parents Laura and Peter Field from Blandford at 2.05am on Sunday, January 1.
Ethan was a rainbow baby after the couple suffered previous miscarriages.
Ethan weighed 6lb 13oz and had been due to arrive on December 30.

On Ethan’s name, Laura said: “We liked the name from watching Casualty, and don't know of any other Ethans.
“Middle name is after my late father who passed away 18 months ago.”
Ethan was born at Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester.
He has an older half-sister, Abigal.
