TRAFFIC is heavy in Wimborne this afternoon after a two-vehicle crash in Wimborne blocked a key route into the market town.
It is reported that a crash at around 3pm on Thursday, January 26 blocked access to Julian’s Bridge, on the B3078 Julian’s Road, in Wimborne.
Morebus is reporting “long delays” on some of its services, including routes 3, 3x, 4 and 6, which is made worse by surrounding road closures and schools finishing.
Our traffic feed Inrix said: “Queueing traffic due to earlier accident on B3078 both ways between A31 (Lake Gates Roundabout) and B3073 West Street (Minster Arms roundabout).
Julian's Bridge was Blocked Wimborne by a RTC, now cleared but long delays remain on services 3 3x 4 and 6 due to road closures, school traffic and diversions. Sorry for the inconvenience caused ^JB (4 and 6 remain on diversion due to Oakley Hill closure)
