A MAN has been jailed for several months for multiple offences including an assault and “flagrant disregard” for court orders.
Mark Jonathan Hardiman, aged 40, was put behind bars at a Poole Magistrates’ Court hearing on Friday, January 26.
Hardiman pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating her at a hotel in Bournemouth on December 4 last year.
He also admitted two counts of breaching a non-molestation order committed on the same day as the assault and in Weymouth on December 23, 2022.
The defendant admitted charges of possessing cannabis and cannabis resin on December 23, 2022, and having amphetamine on October 5, 2022.
Hardiman committed the December offences while he was subject to a suspended sentence order.
The defendant, whose address was given as Imber Road, Winchester, was committed to prison for a total of 37 weeks.
Court papers stated the bench said the offending was of a “serious nature”, there was an “unwillingness” to comply with probation, and a “flagrant disregard for court orders”.
