SIX members of Bournemouth-based karate club ISMAA have qualified to represent Team GB at this year’s World Championships.
The World Martial Arts Games will take place at Daytona Beach in Florida in July.
ISMAA have recently had three students gain high level grades. Sensei Vicky Shurey passed her third dan black belt, sensei Andy Whitehead his fourth Dan and sensei Michael Bushell his fifth dan.
Inner Strength Martial Arts Academy, run by sensei Shaun Lanham sixth dan, has in existence for over 30 years.
