POLICE have released an image of woman they’d like to identify following a spate of shopliftings in Lymington.
Officers received reports of a number of thefts in the area on January 25 which they believe to be connected.
An antique clock worth £1,200 was stolen from Dials Antique Clocks in Quay Hill.
A hair appliance worth £200 was stolen from Jack & The Wolfe in Quay Hill.
Items were shoplifted from The White Stuff in High Street and it was reported a member of staff in her 40’s was assaulted during this incident.
At Costa Coffee in High Street, a wallet was stolen and cards were used fraudulently.
Officers investigating the incidents have released a CCTV image of a woman they’d like to identify.
The woman is described as being white, between 40 and 50-years-old, medium build, with shoulder length dark blonde/light brown hair.
She is also described as having full cheeks and a possible missing front tooth.
She was wearing a knee length black coat with a fur-lined hood, dark trousers, a white and brown patterned scarf, a long grey cardigan, and black shoes.
She was carrying a number of bags.
