SUSPECTED class B drugs were found hidden with flu tablets after the Royal Mail intercepted a “suspicious” looking parcel.
Postmen in Poole found the “suspicious” parcel and called the police who then collected it and discovered suspected cannabis.
An investigation is now underway and the address the parcel came from is now of interest to both the Royal Mail and Dorset Police.
A spokesperson for Poole Police said: “Anyone found with the drug could be imprisoned for up to five years while supplying it can be punished with 14 year jail sentence or an unlimited fine.

“Importation offences carry a far greater penalty. The address this item was sent to is now of interest to both Royal Mail and Dorset Police.”
Recently a suspected ‘cannabis factory’ was discovered in Wareham which led to the arrest of five men.
A suspected firearm was also recovered after police executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at premises in Westminster Road on the morning of Wednesday, February 1.
Five men – aged 24, 25, 32, 33 and 51 – were arrested on suspicion of cultivating a class B drug and possessing a firearm without a certificate. An investigation is ongoing.
