EMERGENCY works are taking place on a main route following a gas leak.
SGN are carrying out repairs to their gas network along the A31 Ringwood Road near the BP Garage in St Leonards.
Lane restrictions are currently in place outside the garage, near its junction with Woolsbridge Road.
SGN say their engineers have located the gas leak and are working to repair the gas main.
The utility company ‘hope’ to complete the work and remove all restrictions by the weekend.
