A MAN allegedly snatched £190 from an cash machine in Poole while his victim’s back was turned.
The victim, a man, reportedly went to withdraw £200 from an ATM outside Tesco in Poole Road on Friday, January 27 at 12.25pm.
As he subsequently tried to cancel the transaction and therefore thought the money had not been dispensed, he turned away from the machine.
However, the ATM did issue the cash and a man, who had been standing nearby, allegedly grabbed it and gave the victim £10, saying that this was all that came out.
Dorset Police has issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify.
Police Community Support Investigator Adam Cleaver, of Poole police, said: “Following enquiries, I am now in a position to issue CCTV images of the suspect.
“I am appealing for anyone with information about his identity to please come forward.”
