A WOMAN died suddenly whilst in a supermarket in New Milton.
The ambulance service, including the air ambulance, as well as police were called to Morrisons in Station Road, New Milton on Thursday, February 9 following the sudden death of a woman.
The death is being treated as non-suspicious and her family has been informed.
An air ambulance was seen landing nearby on a recreation ground. Two ambulances attended and were seen outside.
The store was reportedly closed that afternoon.
A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: “We were called at 2.40pm today (February 9) to Morrisons on Station Road, New Milton, following a sudden death of a woman.
“This is being treated as non-suspicious at this time. Her family have been informed.”
A spokesman for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance said: "I can confirm that the Air Ambulance was dispatched to this medical incident at 1359 on February 9.
"The Critical Care Team consisting of one doctor and one specialist paramedic provided medical treatment to the patient on scene."
A spokesman for Morrisons said: "We were very saddened to hear of this tragic event and send our condolences to the family."
