POLICE detained a man last night in Poole after a vehicle crashed into a tree.
Officers were called to reports of a single vehicle crash in Lake Road, Poole, just after 9pm on Monday, February 13.
A 45-year-old man from Ringwood was detained by police and taken to hospital for treatment.
He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
A spokeswoman for Dorset Police said: “Dorset Police received a report at 9.11pm on Monday, February 13 of a single vehicle collision in Lake Road in Poole.
“Officers attended and a 45-year-old man from Ringwood was detained and taken to hospital for treatment. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
“The vehicle was recovered and the road was cleared at around 11pm.”
