MOREBUS is reporting “major” delays in Poole this afternoon due to roadworks.

The bus operator said its m1 and m2 services are taking 30 minutes to travel between Ashley Road in Parkstone and Westbourne.

The delays are as a result of the closure of Yarmouth Road with roadworks starting on Monday, February 12

Posting at around 5.15pm on Tuesday, Morebus said: “Major delays again this evening due to the closure of Yarmouth Road and displaced traffic using Poole Road Branksome instead.

“Buses are taking up to 30 minutes extra to travel between Ashley Road and Westbourne.

“We are doing all we can to maintain services.”
