A MAN was reportedly stabbed twice after being chased by three teens in Bournemouth

The victim, aged in his 20s, was with a friend outside Columbia Convenience Store in Columbia Road on Friday, February 10 shortly before 7pm. 

They both became involved in a “verbal exchange” with a group of three other men believed to be teens, according to police. 

They walked off before subsequently encountering the group again a short time later and were chased into Slades Farm Road, where the victim fell to the ground before being assaulted.

He was then reportedly stabbed twice in his leg and was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition was not life-threatening. 

The offenders are said to be white males aged in their late teens. One is described as tall and of slim build with brown hair and was wearing a full grey tracksuit.  

The second is described as five feet nine inches tall, wearing a dark Puffa-style jacket and had his face covered with a scarf and hood.  

The third is described as five feet seven inches tall with a bridged nose and short dark hair. He was wearing a black tracksuit.

Detective Constable Nick Whittaker, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We have been carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident, including a trawl of CCTV in the vicinity and house-to-house enquiries. 

“I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or who has information relating to those involved, to please contact us. 

“I would also ask any residents with home CCTV or doorbell cameras, or motorists with dash cams who were driving in the area, to please check their footage for the evening of Friday 10 February 2023 for anything that might assist our investigation.”
