Despite having had a very short life, the Manor established itself as one of the south's legendary nightclubs.

Located near Matchams on the border of Hampshire and Dorset, the venue was once Louis Nelson’s mansion house and county retreat.

A nightclub opened at the site in September 1994, bringing revellers from across the country to listen to a variety of dance music over three rooms.

Partygoers were often treated to DJ sets from big names such as Carl Cox, Slipmat, Paul Van Dyk, Sasha, Grooverider, John Digweed, Tony De Vit, Danny Rampling and more.

As a result of the manor house being replaced by luxury homes in 1999, the days of partying on the site sadly ceased.
