PIGS, dogs, cats and rabbits are looking for their forever homes in Dorset.

A number of animals in the care of Margaret Green Animal Rescue are needing to find permanent homes this week.

Can you rehome any of these pets? All the details are below.

Ally is a beautiful and affectionate, 3 year old Lurcher. She can be nervous in new environments, so she’d love for her new family to give her time to settle into her new routine and continue to grow in confidence. For this reason, we think that initially Ally would be more comfortable being the only pet in her new home, but we believe she would be happy to live with children over 10 years old.

Bournemouth Echo:

Brisket is a handsome, 2 year old Greyhound who loves to be in the company of people. He is a big foodie who enjoys his treats and he loves going for walks with his human companions. Due to his past experience as a racing Greyhound, Brisket would be best suited to a home without cats and small furries. However, we think that he would be happy to live with other medium – large sized dogs and older children.

Bournemouth Echo:

Milo is a 1 year old Collie who has a real zest for life. He would love to find new owners who will be happy to continue his fun training sessions and who would be interested in giving an activity like trick training, agility or scent work a go. He is looking for a home with an adult family and we feel he may be able to live with another dog, following successful introductions.

Bournemouth Echo:

Charming Alfie is a 13 year old gentleman who is very confident and loves to snooze the day away. We have discovered that Alfie loves a good fuss and is certainly partial to a treat or two. From getting to know Alfie, we feel that he would prefer to live in a quieter family home with older children, where he will be the only pet so he can lap up all the attention he deserves.

Bournemouth Echo:

Pudding & Pie are a 7 year old, bonded pair of pigs who enjoy each other’s company. Pudding is an extremely affectionate pig but she can be a little bossy at times. Pie can be shy until he gets to know you, but they both enjoy a good belly scratch! They are looking for home with a draught-free bedroom and a large amount of paddock space, as their favourite hobby is landscaping.

Bournemouth Echo:

Lucy & Fin are a beautiful pair of 6 year old rabbits who are the best of friends. Lucy is a loving girl who absolutely dotes on Fin and her carers, and they both love having a cuddle together. Lucy & Fin are very friendly and sweet-natured, and we believe they would bring a lot of happiness to their new family.
