ANOTHER man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was reportedly stabbed in Wimborne at the weekend.
An 18-year-old man from Poole has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after police were called to reports of a stabbing at an address in Leigh Gardens at around 9.50pm on Sunday, February 26.
A man aged in his 50s was found stab wounds and taken to hospital for treatment to injuries believed to be serious but not life-threatening.
Officers attended and following a search of the area, a 15-year-old boy and a 27-year-old man, both from the Wimborne area, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
They have now been released on police bail.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing and detectives from Dorset County CID are continuing to appeal for anyone with information to contact Dorset Police.
