CCTV images have been released of a missing Poole man’s last sighting who left hospital over the weekend. 

Images have been released of missing David Benham who had left Poole Hospital at around 6.30pm on Sunday, February 26. 

The 56-year-old was on foot and appeared to be heading in the direction of Poole Park in Parkstone Road. 

David is described as five feet six inches tall and of stocky build with short greying black hair and a receding hairline as well as a black moustache.  

He was wearing a black knee length coat that is red inside the hood and a baby blue T-shirt underneath as well as grey baggy check trousers and black trainers. 

Inspector Jon Wasey, of Dorset Police’s Missing Person Support Team, said: “We remain concerned for David’s welfare and are renewing our appeal for anyone with information to come forward. 

“We have now obtained CCTV images of David leaving the hospital that show the clothing he was wearing and I am hoping they may jog someone’s memory.  

“Also, I would be keen to hear from anyone who has located any discarded clothing matching the ones pictured. 

“I am appealing to any motorists who were travelling near to Poole Hospital between 6.25pm and 7pm on Sunday 26 February 2023 to please check their dashcam for any footage that may help with showing David’s movements on the day he was last seen. 

“Finally, if you see this appeal David, please get in touch with us or your family and let us know where you are. We all just want to make sure you are OK.”
