A LEISURE complex in Bournemouth town centre was evacuated last night after a fire broke out.
BH2 leisure centre, in Exeter Crescent, was evacuated last night on Wednesday, March 8, at around 7pm after a fire broke out in Mulligans crazy golf.
Crews from three fire stations rushed to reports of a deep fat fryer fire, which was extinguished prior to their arrival.

A spokeswoman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and rescue Service said: “We were called to a fire at a commercial property on Exeter Crescent, Bournemouth, at 7.05pm yesterday evening.
“Crews from Westbourne, Springbourne and Redhill Park attended the incident which involved a deep fat fryer, but the fire had been extinguished prior to our arrival. Our stop came at 7.28pm.”
A spokeswoman for BH2 said: “Mr Mulligans Bournemouth experienced a small incident yesterday.
“The team were quick to respond the incident with no damage to the venue. We’re pleased to say after a short evacuation, following protocol for the safety of our guests and team members, Mr Mulligans was approved to open last night and is open today.
“All our fantastic activities, food and drink will be on offer to our customers as per usual.”
