TWO men have been charged following a serious assault in Ringwood.
Police were called to Wessex Estate in the Poulner area at 4.16pm on Friday, March 10, to reports a man in his 40s had been assaulted.
The victim reportedly sustained serious injuries to his face.
Officers attended and arrested two men who have since been charged.
Michael Sadler, aged 29, of Westbury Close in Bransgore, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, and assault by beating.
Leo Shields, aged 25, of no fixed abode, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Both men have been remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 13.
