NEW “faster” and “more efficient” car parking systems are set to be installed at Bournemouth Airport.
The airport has appointed company DESIGNA to install state-of-the-art car parking equipment at the site this spring.
The work is expected to start in late April and will take approximately five weeks to complete.
According to details published on the Bournemouth Airport website, passengers can expect faster and more efficient entry and exit from the airport car parks.
It will also see enhanced security measures to keep vehicles safe, and the number of car parking spaces at the airport increased.
Urszula Banks, group car parking manager at Regional & City Airports, which owns and operates Bournemouth Airport, said: “More than 200 airports worldwide have chosen DESIGNA’s leading technology, and we’re delighted to be working with them at Bournemouth Airport.
“This investment will help to further improve the overall travel experience for everyone who passes through Bournemouth Airport and although there will be some disruption in the short term, we are confident that the end result will be well worth it.”
