WARREN & The Hare in Westbourne has been named the Daily Echo’s Best Hairdresser Salon for 2023.
The salon in Seamoor Road picked up the award after receiving an overwhelming number of votes from readers and clients.
Owners Warren Edwards and James Roper said they were “so proud” of the achievement and have issued thanks to everyone who voted for them.
Warren said: “We are extremely honoured to have received this award for the Best Hairdressers 2023, especially with all the 100s of salons there are in Dorset.
“It’s really nice to have the confirmation that what we’re doing is working.
“We are so thankful.”
The salon was opened by Warren and James in November 2021, with the couple’s mission to “make everyone leave feeling and looking 100 per cent”.

It is described as a ‘genderless hairdressers’ which offers a personal and inclusive service for everyone.
The salon has a modern and chic design, and all clients are welcomed in with a smile.
Warren and James’ Cocker Spaniel Bow is also a hit with customers, and has become the real star of the business over the past 18 months.
A framed certificate naming Warren & The Hare as the Best Hairdresser Salon for 2023 has been sent to the salon and can be seen on display at the entrance.
Warren and James said that they have been congratulated by other businesses in Westbourne for the win, and have even been showered by gifts from clients.
Now, the pair are looking forward to an “exciting future" at the salon.
Warren said: “We now have three stylists working here, and we are now looking for our next superstar to join our team.
“We have started taking on work experience from Bournemouth hairdressing college too, to help some of the students grow, and to pass on our years of experience and knowledge to the next generation of hairdressers.”
