AFC Bournemouth supporters will face an increase in parking charges during matchdays.

The new charges, which will be in place for Saturday’s fixture against Fulham and beyond, will mean visitors are paying more than the £1 parking in the South Car Park at Vitality Stadium at present.

Charges now apply 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including matchdays and have risen as a result of BCP Council utilising their contractual rights to apply charges on matchdays.

Charges for cars include:

  • Up to 1 hour - £1
  • Up to 2 hours - £1.50
  • Up to 4 hours - £3.50
  • Up to 24 hours - £5

Charges for lorries and coaches in the lorry car park, which is to the south of the main South Stand car park are:

  • Up to 4 hours - £4
  • 24 hours - £9

A spokesperson for AFC Bournemouth said: “Supporters should note that the South Car Park operates as cashless, with options to pay by mobile, app or phone to the number displayed on the sign.

“In order to pay, supporters should download either the Pay by Phone, Ringo or Just Park app.”

Alternative – and cheaper – parking includes at Avonbourne Academy, which is a ten-minute walk from the ground and offers a limited number of free parking with two accessible spaces.

The Sovereign Shopping Centre, approximately a 15-minute walk from the ground, offers multiple accessible parking spaces.
