PEOPLE are being invited to saddle up for the Macmillan Dorset Bike Ride this summer.
The epic 100 mile bike ride takes place on Sunday, July 2.
It starts and finishes at Corfe Mullen Recreation Ground.
The riders are provided with complete support throughout including, refreshments, bike mechanics from Primera Sports, a post ride massage by Birchwood Physio and a fully signed and marshaled route.
Ride organiser Peter Smith-Nicholls said: “We have been running the 100 mile ride for quite a few years now and once again we would like to see over 100 cyclists riding 100 miles for Macmillan.
"Shorter distances will be available but the 100 mile ride has always been a great challenge and a fantastic fundraiser for us.”
In the UK 83 per cent of people with cancer experience a financial impact due to their diagnosis and Macmillan is determined to do whatever it takes to support those who need it.
Thanks to the sponsor Sunseeker International and the event's other supporters all the funds raised by the riders will go to support people living with cancer.
