BOURNEMOUTH

JAMIE JAMES JOHN SELLARS, aged 19 and of Brook Close, admits entering a train for the purpose of travelling without having with him a valid ticket entitled him to travel at Southampton Airport on May 11, 2022. Fined £60. To pay £49.10 compensation, £34 surcharge and £85 costs.

JAY REYNOLDS, aged 19 and of McNair Close, Selsey, admits assaulting a woman thereby occasioning her actual bodily harm at Bournemouth International Centre, Exeter Road, Bournemouth, on December 8, 2021. Community order made, whereby the defendant must take part in up to five days of rehabilitation activity requirement and carry out 200 hours of unpaid work. To pay £500 compensation, £95 surcharge and £85 costs.

PETER KENNETH BURROUGHES, aged 24 and of Turnbull Lane, Bournemouth, admits having a quantity of cannabis in Dorset on November 4, 2021. Discharged conditionally for six months. To pay £22 surcharge. Drugs to be forfeited and destroyed.

MALGOZATA GRZELAK, of Donoughmore Road, Bournemouth, found guilty of driving a motor vehicle in Boundary Road, Bournemouth, on February 18, 2022, whilst unfit to drive through drugs. Fined £660. To pay £66 surcharge and £275 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for two years.

CHRISTCHURCH

ARAN HAMILTON-WRIGHT, aged 37 and of Elm Avenue, Christchurch, admits driving an Audi in Upper Brighton Road, Sompting, on April 14, 2022, at a speed exceeding 40mph. Fined £40. To pay £34 surcharge and £30 costs. Driving record endorsed with three points.

NORTH DORSET

ADAM ZBIGNIEW POLITEWICZ, aged 48 and of no fixed abode, admits being drunk and disorderly on the A357 Sturminster Newton on December 11, 2022. Discharged conditionally for six months. To pay £26 surcharge. Also admits failing to surrender to custody at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on January 6, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on December 11, 2022. Discharged conditionally for six months.

POOLE

CELO MICHAEL PURNELL, aged 19 and Springfield Road, Poole, admits driving a motor vehicle in Sandbanks Road, Poole, on October 8, 2022, with 174 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of urine. Community order made, whereby the defendant must carry out 70 hours of unpaid work. To pay £114 surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 14 months. Also admits driving a motor vehicle in Sandbanks Road, Poole, on October 8, 2022, without a licence. No separate penalty. Driving record endorsed. Also admits being the driver of a mechanically propelled vehicle owing to the presence of which in Sandbanks Road, Poole, on October 8, 2022, an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to property forming part of the land on which the road was situated or land adjacent to it, failed to stop and on being required by a person having reasonable grounds for so requiring failing to give his name and address and the name and address of the owner and the identification marks of the vehicle. Community order made. Driving record endorsed. Also admits being the driver of a mechanically propelled vehicle owing to the presence of which in Sandbanks Road, Poole, on October 8, 2022, an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to property forming part of the land on which the road was situated or land adjacent thereto, and not having given his name and address to a person having reasonable grounds for requiring him to do so, failed to report the accident at a police station or to a constable as soon as was reasonably practicable, and in any case within 24 hours of the occurrence of the accident. Community order made. Driving record endorsed.

SAMUEL EDWARD TYE, aged 34 and of Parkstone Road, Poole, admits assaulting PC Heawood, an emergency worker acting in the exercise of his functions as such a worker by beating him at Poole Police Station, Wimborne Road, Poole, on November 27, 2022. Fined £160. To pay £100 compensation, £64 surcharge and £85 costs.

DANIEL WAYNE SNOOK, aged 38 and of Woking Road, Poole, admits assaulting a man thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm in Commercial Road, Poole, on May 14, 2022. Committed to prison for 24 weeks, suspended for 12 months. To pay £500 compensation. Also admits assaulting PC Welch, an emergency worker acting in the exercise of his functions as such a worker, by beating him in Commercial Road, Poole, on May 14, 2022. To pay £100 compensation.
